Feel the Love

Josie: "Hey J.R. guess what! I've lost one and a half pounds in two weeks!"

J.R.: "Are you dehydrated? It's probably all water weight."

Josie: "No wonder you were 25 and single when I met you."

I should add that we've been married for almost 12 years so he's had time to learn! And neither one of us weighs what we did when we met (although, he's closer) LOL

Sometimes, the "guy" in every guy comes out. Training, just a little more training.

LOL!!! Yep, typical guy!

Yup - just being a guy. Snog Dot is right - it's all about training. After nearly 25 years of marriage, I can definitely say the difference between a guy and a man is training.

after 30 years... he'll still say something like that... and until the newness of having him home wears off, I won't smack him upside the head when he says something male and dumb like that... Jeeeeez, what is it, the MN winters?

The Guard is coming home. I'll be thinking of you when we pick them up.

LOL! Men. They can be soooo incredibly sensitive and encouraging . . . to each other, but to the wife, not so much. Hmmmm.

Its nothing compared to something I said once.

It was Jack Nicholson (A Few Good Men) inspired, in front of my platoon and my wife (an officer) was standing behind me.

Who the hell was covering my six THAT day?

Note to self: Jack Nicholson is NOT a role model.
