Facts

Did you know...

When our men and women fight overseas their jobs back home are protected BY LAW.

Did you also know...

When a spouse or family member drops everything to care for a soldier injured in the line of duty that they are only granted THREE months of family medical leave.

After family medical leave is used up the employer no longer has to hold the employees position.

If you or someone you know has lost their job (or fought to keep their job) while caring for a soldier injured in OEF/OIF PLEASE contact me ASAP at josie@jrsalzman.com.

More to come on this topic... (I feel like one of those commercials on T.V.)

Well Josie, today is my wife's and my 328th Monthaversary, this time in July 1980 we were on our way to British Columbia from Toronto for our honeymoon.

When Job lost his children and his other stuff, his wife lost her children too and their stuff.

I cannot fathom what you have been through in A: your short life and B: your short time together.

I have prayed for you folks often since learning of you through LT Smash who introduced me to the world of Mil Blogs.

But thanks for sticking out the unimaginable.

Did you know that SEARS is keeping those called to active duty on their payroll (supplementing duty income to be equal to their SEARS pay) and keeping their benefits going for up to two years? Give SEARS a boost and thank them for keeping this program going - Buy a gift for someone - even if it is for the TOYS FOR TOTS campaign at SEARS.

I didn't even get FMLA. I had to resign after being out for three months.
